Alachua County Farm Bureau’s Art Contest Celebrates “The Beauty of Agriculture”

Students in grades 1-12 compete for cash prizes by applying their artistic skills.

 Contest Guidelines:

  • The contest is open to students grades 1-12. 
  • Mediums acceptable are ink, pencil, oil, acrylic or watercolor. Paper or canvas no larger than 20” x 14”.
  • The student must be willing to allow Alachua County Farm Bureau to reprint copies of their work.  The winning artwork becomes the property of Alachua County Farm Bureau.
  • The artwork will be placed in the Cade Museum for viewing. Winners will be announced November 23, 2019 at the Cade Museum. 
  • All information on the entry form must be completed, including the signature of the parent or guardian.

Deadline: Monday, November 11, 2019

Judging: How well the artwork represents the beauty in agriculture and artistic talent.

Prizes:

  •             $100 to the first place winner in grades 1-5
  •              $100 to the first place winner in age group grade 6-8
  •              $100 to the first place winner in age group grade 9-12

The winning student’s school will receive an art basket filled with art supplies
