Wayne Oelfke, Vice President,
is a fifth generation dairy farmer, who, at this time, with his wife, Margaret, own and operate Oelfke Dairy. Having grown up on a diary farm in Midwest Ohio, Oelfke was involved in the family dairy, which grew crops of corn, soybean and alfalfa, as well as the care and milking of the cattle. After attending UF, Oelfke and his wife began farming in Alachua County raising beef and dairy replacement animals. During this time Oelfke was also a science teacher. In 1984, Oelfke Dairy began operation and he returned to full time dairy farming with his family. Oelfke has been involved in state and local concerns in agriculture, dairy business analysis, as well as youth activities. He serves as an Alternate Director of Southeast Milk, Inc. Oelfke has been a member of Alachua County Farm Bureau since 1988.
