acfb_logo1Alachua County Farm Bureau is the participating sponsor of The Alachua County Farm Bureau Ag Show on WDVH-AM/FB, 980 AM and 101.7 FM. The inaugural program aired at 8-9 a.m. on Wednesday, February 17. It will feature Alachua County Farm Bureau President Winston Rushing and Michael Rogalsky, director of Field Services, Florida Farm Bureau Federation.

“This is the only locally produced radio program in North-Central Florida that focuses on our local agriculture and rural citizens,” Rushing said. “Each program will focus on some aspect of agriculture or some important topic or issue faced by agricultural producers and rural residents.” The Farm Bureau’s mission is to to increase the net income of farmers and ranchers, and to improve the quality of rural life.

The program is hosted by Ward Scott, host of the daily morning talk show, the Ward Scott Files.

“We’re inviting listeners — especially Farm Bureau members — to call in to the show or text their questions and comments — in order to get some good dialogue going on about rural issues,” Rushing said. “It’s their show.”

The program is streamed live on the Internet at and is also available as a podcast at .
